I believe all of us, need we be in the faith or not, have read or heard about the story of Adam and Eve, at one point in time or another. However, very few actually understand its story in-depth and even less, as to why it matters. I will take you through a series of breakdowns contained within this historical narrative, in order to give you a clear view of what was being conveyed. Taking it in parts, as to not have one very long article, worthy of a book. So some parts may be rather short, while others may be significantly longer. But all of which are important. Especially when understanding so many things that come later within the scriptures. We will tackle everything from; who was the serpent?, to Adam and Eve’s nakedness, to the location of the garden of eden, to what is the tree of life?, and much, much, more. I have (as is my nature) about twenty one segments in total. Some segments I may merge into a single part if the segment is too short. But enough of that, we have much to unpack. So let us begin.
Hosea 12:10 KJVS
I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.
We must keep in mind that The Most High God is one who loves using similitudes to explain things. Let us get a definition of similitude from the Strong’s Concordance and Dictionary.com:

So a similitude is something used to explain by likening it to something else. It is synonymous with a simile, allegory, analogy or comparison. Which helps us understand that not everything we are reading is literally happening the way we would envision. But that raises the question, that if this did not happen as it says or as I envision, what then in all actuality took place? And that is what I am here to clarify, precept upon precept. One may ask, why does God use analogies and metaphors to speak to us? There are a couple of reasons.
Proverbs 25:2 KJVS
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
The Most High God planned the writing of the scriptures to be assembled as a puzzle or riddle. It shows the glory of the author to chart out such a great narrative. So too, is it the glory of The Most High God in how he meticulously planned out, how he wanted to tell the story of the world, centered on Israel. And he also finds it glorious for those that he calls kings and queens of his people, to search it out and discover all of his hidden gems. Christ is no different.
Matthew 13:10-14,16 KJVS
And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? [11] He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. [12] For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. [13] Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. [14] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: [16] But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
Christ was letting both his disciples, present at that time, as well as, all of us as his disciples at this present time, know that this walk is spiritual. If you desire to have a deeper understanding, it comes with repentance. A sincere desire to learn and apply what is written. Without that, you will not receive the spirit of understanding to be able to pull all of the meat off of the bones.
2 Timothy 3:7 KJVS
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
You can gain some insight on the surface. But as much as you learn you will never be able to fully unlock its mysteries in the way The Most High is referencing. Or even when it is explained, you still cannot see it, or understand it the way God intended. And you see, even understanding is spiritual. You can understand something today but through sin, forget it tomorrow. He that has an ear to hear, let him hear! This is what Christ meant in verse twelve. For whoever has sincere with faith and repentance and continues to follow after righteousness, you will receive the understanding in spirit and in truth, as it will be revealed unto you. And you will understand more as that spirit grows within you. But from those who do not repent or fall away, even that understanding that you had shall be taken away as well. And you will become blind. Not seeing how you are going further left in your understanding as you go further left into wickedness.
2 Esdras 14:4-6 KJVA
4 And I sent him and led my people out of Egypt, and brought him up to the mount of where I held him by me a long season, 5 And told him many wondrous things, and shewed him the secrets of the times, and the end; and commanded him, saying, 6 These words shalt thou declare, and these shalt thou hide.
You have to understand that Adam and Eve did not write the story of Genesis. Moses was the one who initially wrote what we know as the book of Genesis. However, as the codexes and scrolls were burned and destroyed serving as the Bible of that time, they needed to be rewritten. So The Most High God would use prophets such as Esdras, that he could put his spirit on, to rewrite the scriptures, if they were all lost. So his word may be preserved for our people. But many wonders were shown to Moses. Things were revealed unto Moses during the forty days he was on the mountain, communing with The Most High (who was in all reality Christ) see the segment I did on “Who is Us”. Even within that, some things Moses was able to openly disclose while others he was told to only reveal to the wise. Lest some information confound the average person. As even in this day and age, most do not apply themselves to seek out and study these things. Or plainly, you cannot go into an elementary school trying to teach high school level math. The children simply won’t get it. It will only confuse most of them. Just teach them the basics. They as babes, still have need of milk and not meat.
