8. Why should I learn from you?

As our name implies, we strive to teach sound doctrine. We teach the word in sincerity and in truth. Precept upon precept, line upon line, as the scriptures state to do. (Isaiah 28:9-10, Psalms 119:104, Psalms 119:27)

9. How can I learn more?

10. How can I join?

By reaching out to us via email, text, or phone call. Feel free to fill out our contact form and we will get back to you at our earliest convenience. However, similar to a relationship built with a friend or romantic interest, one must be proven. And this isn’t a one way street. You need to take some time to prove us and we need time to prove you. You are free, and encouraged to take all the time you need to see if we are righteous and teaching sound doctrine. If we check those boxes, then you can make the decision to become a member after a minimum of 40 days of consistent learning from us. Observed by things such as likes, shares, and comments. At which point, if you are still interested, you will be scheduled for a new member orientation. And if all goes well, you will be officially a member of Sound Faith Ministries. (Sirach 6:7, Sirach 11:29)

11. Do you charge for services?

No, all of our services are free. (Titus 1:11, 1 Peter 5:2)

12. Do you accept donations?

Yes! All donations are a help and greatly appreciated. For you it counts as alms. For us, it is used to help forward the ministry. And help goes towards paying for our church website, email address, phone number, recording software, flyers etc. The more you give and give consistently, the better we can build and improve upon the quality of our hardware and software, which will improve our presentation and delivery. Which will help us improve our aesthetics and our ability to spread the word further. All to help others repent, need they decide to fellowship with us, another camp, or start a camp of their own! (Ecclesiastes 10:19, Matthew 6:1-4, Luke 11:41, Acts 10:2,31)

13. Do you believe in Christ?

Yes. (Proverbs 30:4, 2 Esdras 7:27-29, Daniel 9:25-27)

14. Are you Christians?

Technically, yes. Remember, the disciples/ apostles did not refer to themselves as Christians but rather the people coined that name and applied it to them because they were followers of Christ. So if you are asking if we are followers of Christ, yes we are. (Acts 11:26)

15. What denomination are you?

On one hand, the Bible does not teach us to adopt any denomination as what you see today (Pentecostal, Baptist, Evangelical etc.). But rather teaches us to apply the word as a whole. On the other hand, one may establish a church/ community and that community may identify or designate itself a particular name. (1 Timothy 5:21, James 1:22, Hebrews 10:7, John 14:15)

16. Do you teach hate?

No, not at all. We teach what The Most High God commands us to teach through his word. Which some may view as hate. On one hand, to avoid correction or accountability. As, if I live a lifestyle contrary to what God deems as righteous and I do not accept Gods will, I now focus on my own will and seek to validate why my way is acceptable and good. And if someone doesn’t accept that, what do we often refer to them as? A hater! On the other hand, largely due to indoctrination. Because if I teach one cannot murder, many would agree that is good. Because they can see and agree that you shouldn’t take the life of someone wrongfully or unjustly because they did not deserve it. Even though many do in this modern day and age. Now, because we are so disconnected from the sound doctrine of the scriptures we are not aware of what God defines as love and hate. So our immediate reaction when we hear something that goes against what we have been taught (or our presuppositions) is to shun and rebuke it. The same is true with many of the biblical doctrines we teach. You have been taught one thing, with little to no proof but the moment you hear something different/ contrary, it seems like hate speech. And this is the dilemma we face.  Liken it to the growing term used by some Caucasians, "reverse racism". Used as a defense mechanism when you bring up slavery in the Americas. To try to make it seem as if somehow, you are being racist against them for brining up an issue about race in the first place! How come you can’t move past the hate? It is history. America has no problem perpetuating, remember 9/11, remember the holocaust and how evil Adolf Hitler was but wants you to forget chattel slavery and all the oppression that followed suite after. Hypocrisy at its finest! Correction is love not hate. And we teach correction and righteous judgement as commanded to do through the scriptures. (1 John 5:3, Ezekiel 3:17-21, John 7:24)
